Adkins Arboretum is one of the few botanical institutions focused on conserving and promoting native plants of the Chesapeake Bay region.

The Arboretum’s meadows, forests, and wetlands provide an incomparable outdoor venue for a wide variety of programs, including youth education, art, and science. Rotating art exhibits highlight regional artists and special events offer community engagement.
