Facilities Rentals

The Caroline Room and Pavilion are available for rent by nonprofit organizations and local businesses. The Arboretum does not host weddings or private parties.

Rental rates are $50 per hour during operating hours. Rental fees increase to $100 per hour outside of operating hours. Prices may vary depending on the size and needs of the group. Events exceeding the times stated in the rental contract will be charged accordingly.

Corporate sponsors at the $3000 and above level receive free use of the Caroline Room or Pavilion for a corporate event.

Caroline Room

The Caroline Room, located in the Visitor’s Center, accommodates 35 people with tables and chairs, 45 people with chairs only, and 50 people with no tables or chairs. Room rental includes the use of tables, chairs, and restrooms. A projector and screen are available upon request.

Caterers are welcome and may access the Visitor’s Center kitchenette.

Pavilion

The Pavilion is a covered, open-sided structure, located within walking distance of the Visitor’s Center. It accommodates up to 125 people. Pavilion rental includes the use of eight wooden picnic tables which seat approximately 50, electric and water hookup, and access to restrooms located in the Visitor’s Center.

Chairs are available for an additional $35 fee. Golf cart transportation for guests with limited mobility is available at no charge with two weeks advance notice.

Rental Policies

  • A signed contract is due seven days from receipt. The rental fee is due on or before the day of the rental.
  • Rentals include access to the Arboretum’s trails. Guided tours with a docent naturalist are available for an additional $10 per person and must be scheduled two weeks in advance.
  • Tables and chairs in the Caroline Room are set-up and put away by Arboretum staff. To protect the furniture, renters must provide tablecloths if messy activities are part of the agenda.
  • Alcohol, smoking, vaping, horses, balloons, confetti, glitter, amplified music, weapons, grilling, and open flames are not allowed.
  • Vehicles are not allowed beyond the Arboretum parking lot without prior approval. 
  • Dogs are allowed, but must be on a leash at all times.
  • Renters are expected to do basic clean-up. All trash must be carried out. A $100 cleaning fee will be applied if the area is left in poor condition.
