Welcome to Adkins Arboretum
Begin your visit at the Visitor's Center. Here, staff will orient you to the Arboretum's grounds, provide a map, answer questions, suggest walking routes, and points of interest. You'll also find brochures, information about what's in bloom, and the schedule for guided walks. You may also borrow a free audio tour. Literature about the Arboretum, special events, and programming are also available.

Tuesday through Saturday: 10 am – 4 pm
Sunday: noon – 4 pm
Thanksgiving: closed
Winter Break: closed December 24 – 31

Adkins Arboretum's Art Gallery houses rotating art exhibitions all year long. Click here to learn about the current show.
The Art Gallery also serves as a meeting room and event space. Many of the Arboretum's programs, from art workshops to scholarly presentations, take place in this room. Click here to learn more about renting the Art Gallery for your event.
Gift Shop
Adkins Arboretum's Gift Shop is located in the Visitor's Center. In addition to Adkins logo merchandise, like hats, shirts, and water bottles, you'll find a charming selection of locally-made items, like pottery, art, and wooden home goods. Also in stock are puzzles, note cards, jewelry, socks, candles, wildlife guides, and more.
The Gift Shop's children's selection includes cuddly animal puppets, crafts, stickers, books, and other nature-themed items.
Additionally, the Gift Shop carries a large selection of gardening and nature themed books.
Adkins Arboretum members receive a 10% discount on all Gift Shop purchases.
