Wetland Boardwalk

Adkins Arboretum's wetland is teeming with life, and the best place to get up-close and personal with turtles, frogs, fish, birds, and beavers is the Wetland Boardwalk.

The Wetland Boardwalks serves many purposes. It's an outdoor classroom for our Youth Programs, a favorite spot for bird-watchers, a stage for concerts and performances, and an ideal plein air location.

To access the Wetland Boardwalk, take the trail just to the right of the bridge that leads to the Visitor's Center. It's accessible to bikes, strollers, and wheelchairs.
