Nestled in Nature

As the Arboretum's newest venue, Nestled in Nature will celebrate the landscape's natural proceses, create an incomparable gathering spot, and provide an inspiring destination to enjoy and engage with nature.

Sited at the highest elevation off Nancy's Meadow Loop, the project will feature a terrace with seating and a panoramic view of the meadow. An arbor will shade the seating area and support a mural by artist Mike Pugh comprising hundreds of sculpted clay tiles and dalle de verre.

What is dalle de verde?

Simply, "slabs of glass." The labor-intensive dalle de verre technique of stained glass mosaic is practiced in only a dozen studios worldwide.
