Bees, Seeds, and Healthy Streams
How can native plants, pollinators, and humans interact to create thriving land and water habitats? In an outdoor field experience, students will find answers to this driving question by exploring the Arboretum’s meadow, forest, and stream habitats. They’ll collect stream data to determine water quality, conduct native plant and pollinator counts, experiment to see which seeds float, and make seed balls to enhance their schoolyard habitats.
