Past careers encompass graphic artist, paginator for newspapers, and product developer for a wholesale/retail store. But I have since my 20s painted and worked in water color, acrylic and sculpted. Since 2014 my focus is on representational and fantasy art in oil and acrylic. I incorporate memorable experiences in nature with paint on my canvas. Sometimes I incorporate texture and smooth sculptural groves in my paintings to add interest and mood. I hope I’m forever learning, perfecting my skill and conveying happiness to the viewer. Endeavoring to paint the calm and joy brought by immersing myself in flora and fauna I weekly paint plein air with the Patuxent Painters. I also hope to bring awareness to the importance of clean waterways and a healthy earth. Memberships include the ACLT and cooperative owner of the North End Gallery in Leonardtown, MD.
