Plein Air Adkins
November 2, 2024
Plein Air Adkins is a one-day plein air paint-out, exhibit, and sale where artists paint at the Arboretum in the morning and then exhibit and sell their work in the afternoon. The judge will be Beth Bathe, a full-time painter who resides in Lancaster, PA.
The event is open to any artist who wishes to participate. Registration for artists is $15 until October 1, then it will be $20. Artists may register in advance here, or in-person on the day of the event.
The public is invited to explore the Arboretum's woodland, meadows, and wetland while watching the artists paint, then enjoy the exhibit and sale with live music by Fine Times. This is a wonderful opportunity to purchase art on the same day it was created! The event is free for observers, but we ask that you register in advance for planning purposes. Observers may register here.
