Eye Level: The Main Attraction Fall is the season of fruits and nuts, storage and migration. This session will take place outdoors with a walk and careful examination of a transect through the woods to learn about native trees and shrubs, seed dispersal, and other activities taking place mid-canopy. The session will also include a review of the ground layer and its importance to the forest.

*This is the second in a three-part Layers of the Forest program series. The Ground Layer: What's Going Down in Leaf Litter? is offered on October 21; The Canopy: Intercepting Energy for Life is offered November 4. Participants may register for single programs or for the series.
