About the Artist

Bridget Z. Sullivan is an artist, gallerist, and educator dedicated to creating and exhibiting her own work, showcasing other artists, and exploring innovative art-making methods with contemporary tools. Her work has been featured in solo and group exhibitions at venues such as Maryland Art Place, MaxGallery, School 33 Art Center, Make Studio, and Jordan Faye Contemporary in Baltimore, as well as Blackrock Art Center, Greenbelt Art Center, Adkins Arboretum, Delaplaine Art Center, Ruby Art Collective, WomanKraft Gallery, and the University of Maryland Global Campus Art Gallery.

Sullivan has twice served as a National Park Service Artist-in-Residence in Acadia National Park and Catoctin Mountain Park. She is a recipient of three Maryland State Arts Council Individual Artist’s Grants, with her work published in AfterImage: Inklight and URHere Journal of Creative Geography. Since 2012, Sullivan has volunteered as president and curatorial director of the Hamilton Arts Collective | Hamilton Gallery in NE Baltimore.
