In 2013, Anna became a Maryland Master Naturalist through classes at the Arboretum and concurrently took botanical art classes. She has taught art classes at the Arboretum and in 2021 founded the Botanical Art League of the Eastern Shore. In the summer of 2022, she had a one-woman show at the Arboretum featuring endangered and threatened species of plants, animals and insects that are indigenous to this area.
She currently serves on the art committee that juries the shows in the Arboretum gallery and helps plan the schedule of art courses taught at the Arboretum.
