Madison Palmer, Youth Program Director
Madison has worked at the Arboretum since September 2023, first as Youth Program Coordinator and then, beginning in September 2024, as Youth Program Director. She teaches, designs, and coordinates nature-enhanced preschool, Summer camp, and field trip programs at Adkins.
Before joining Adkins Arboretum, Madison gained valuable experience in a variety of educational roles, including outdoor education instruction for the National Park Service, Nature’s Classroom in Connecticut, and Sharon Audubon Society’s Summer camp where she was Head Counselor & Camp Coordinator for two seasons. She gained classroom experience by substitute teaching and working as a Teacher at a Montessori school.
Madison holds a Bachelor of Science in biology with a concentration in ecology from Penn State University.
