Madison Palmer—Youth Program Coordinator
Madison Palmer joined our team as the Arboretum’s new Youth Program Coordinator! Madison comes to us most recently from Connecticut, where she was employed as a summer camp coordinator for the Sharon Audubon Center.
After earning a degree in biology with a concentration in ecology from Pennsylvania State University, Madison was a camp counselor at the Sharon Audubon Center, a preschool teacher at the Burlington Academy of Learning, an outdoor educator at Nature’s Classroom and a substitute teacher. Her experience, science background, and winning personality make her a great fit to lead our youth programs!
Madison has jumped into the busy fall field trip season feet first. In addition to leading our “Rooted Wisdom: Nature’s Story in the Underground Railroad” field trips, she teaches preschool, homeschooling, and other field trip programs upon request.
