Karen Lisch Gianninoto moved to Denton, Maryland in 1979, from Springfield, Ohio to begin her 35 year career in education. She worked for Caroline County Public Schools, Salisbury University, and the Maryland State Department of Education. She served a teacher, grant manager, ESL Specialist, and Professional Development Specialist. In retirement, she works for Martinak and Tuckahoe State Parks. She is married to Tony Gianninoto, who was born and raised in Greensboro, MD. They have 3 children and 3 grandchildren.
